What is a lap of Ain Diab like?

A fast road circuit south-west of Casablanca's Ain-Diab suburb, designed by the Royal Automobile Club of Morocco and built in six weeks in 1957, using the coast road and the main road from Casablanca to Azemmour through the Sidi Abderrahman forest. After a non-championship race in 1957 it hosted the 1958 Moroccan Grand Prix, the final round of the season: Stirling Moss won for Vanwall, but Mike Hawthorn's second place for Ferrari made him the first British World Champion, and Vanwall clinched the constructors' title. Stuart Lewis-Evans crashed in the race when his Vanwall's engine seized and died from his burns in hospital in England days later. It remains the only World Championship Grand Prix held in Morocco.
