What is a lap of Circuito da Boavista like?

Boavista was a narrow street circuit in Porto: the start was on the harbour front, the lap continued along Avenida da Boavista, which gave the circuit its name, and twisted back through small neighbourhoods over cobbles and tram lines. At the first World Championship race there in 1958 Stirling Moss won and then spoke up for his title rival Mike Hawthorn, who faced disqualification for driving against the race direction after a spin; Hawthorn kept his second place and won the title by one point. The 1960 race, won by Jack Brabham, was a race of attrition; the Portuguese Grand Prix was then discontinued and did not return to Formula 1 until 1984, at Estoril. A shortened 4.8 km version of the street circuit was revived from 2005 and hosted the WTCC Race of Portugal until 2013; in 2015 Porto City Council suspended the event over its cost.
