What is a lap of Montjuïc like?
Montjuïc was a street circuit on the park roads of Montjuïc hill above Barcelona, run anticlockwise, with one slow, twisting half and one very fast half that included a crest beside the Olympic Stadium where cars left the ground. At the 1969 race the high-mounted rear wings of Graham Hill's and Jochen Rindt's Lotuses failed over that crest and both cars crashed; high wings were banned straight afterwards. The 1975 race began after a drivers' protest about badly fixed barriers; on lap 26 Rolf Stommelen's Hill lost its rear wing and crashed into a spectator area, killing four people; the race was stopped after 29 laps and Formula 1 never returned. The roads are still public streets today; motorcycle racing, including the 24 Hours of Montjuïc, continued until 1986, and the area was later redeveloped for the 1992 Olympic Games.

Where the winner started, every race at this circuit. Pole sitter means the driver who set the fastest qualifying time (first on the grid where no qualifying data exists); a grid penalty can move the pole sitter back, and that race still counts for them. Compare every circuit.
